What is Ballates Barre?

It’s a new exercise class combining Ballet Barre, Pilates & Yoga which includes a series of controlled exercises that are designed to strengthen, stretch and tone your body, while protecting the joints and spine. Ballates Barre improves core and whole body strength & tone, your flexibility and posture, while stimulating your energy system for an invigorating, energising full body workout.

Ballates Barre Instructor

Kitty began to dance at the young age of five with Ella Doran & Phillip Cole in the Dublin Ballet School. At the age of sixteen she began training full-time at The Graham & Nicola Drake School of Dance, Northern Ireland’s only vocational Ballet School.

During the course of her training Kitty successfully qualified as a R.A.D Ballet teacher and trained to R.A.D & I.S.T.D Advanced levels. On completion of her studies at The Graham & Nicola Drake School of Dance Kitty successfully obtained a scholarship to Bird College of Dance and Musical Theatre where she further developed her training in various disciplines of dance as well as gaining experience and skills in drama and singing.

For the past number of years Kitty has been working as a freelance Pilates instructor and is currently training to become a Yoga instructor and Reflexologist.
